Shaking like a snow globe trying to keep your HR in check?
It’s never just Santa who’s frantically getting ready for Christmas; if you are struggling with an HR software To Do List, let our very own Kath Handley and her support team help you to get the maximum out of the system.
Marketing Assistant Rob Brown recently interviewed K-ristmassy Kath about her role as Operations Manager.
If you were a Christmas character who would you be and why?
I guess I would be Mrs Claus, leading the high-spirited support department as they deliver the goods to our supported customers. Croner Simply Personnel is packed with so many features that there is never a dull moment and it’s a blessing to know that it can help to solve so many HR problems. A challenge? Yes but an exciting one and I’m constantly learning new things.
What happened before you dashed into Croner Simply Personnel?
I used to lead a team of software trainers for a different product set but I’ve now moved into the support team here at Croner Simply Personnel, which seemed like a logical step because I already had an insight into organisations’ HR software requirements. Outside of work, I sing in a choir and am very much looking forward to performing all of the Christmas carols over the festive season.
What’s on the cards for you every morning when you get to work?
Well, once I’ve decked the office with boughs of holly [jokes], I look to see if I’ve received any new e-mails then speak to the team about any current support queries, including those that may have come in overnight. There’s never a silent night but it feels like every day is Christmas when a problem is solved.
How about your team?
I have a team of nine support staff in total; who have many years’ worth of technical support experience between them – plus, there are no Grinchs here. We have a first-line support team who are able to handle any minor queries and a second-line support team who can step in to resolve the more complex issues.
